Ross
Estate Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Stonefruit and melon
characters from the Chardonnay complemented by tropical Sauvignon
Blanc flavors produce a vibrant, zesty wine with crisp acid
finish.
Ross
Estate Old Vine Grenache 2004
Ross
Estate Grenache vines are up to 90 years of age and represent the
oldest vines on the estate. These gnarled vines are dry grown and
low yielding, but produce high quality grapes with concentrated
flavours. The wine is an attractive deep crimson colour with ripe
spicy cherry fruit aromas typical of the variety. Its palate
structure is rich and warm with soft tannins. An authentic and
traditional Barossa Valley style of wine.
Ross
Estate Riesling 2007
Grapefruit, lime and
nectarines on the nose complimented by a dry, well balanced palate
with a crisp citrus finish.
Ross
Estate Shiraz 2004
This
gold medal-winning Shiraz is a hedonistic delight. With layer upon
layer of flavour, it is beautifully balanced and for a wine of such
concentration, so refined. There is a wonderful red fruit dimension
over the plummy, mulberry core with violet highlights and lovely
base notes ranging from wood-smoke through cocoa to exotic spices.
Absolutely charming now, but it will get even better with time in
the bottle.
